Aqua blue green sagenitic chrysocolla gemstone collector focal bead pendant -natural stone for jewelry making or other crafts. This natural stone hails from the ray mine, arizona, usa and it is rare because it features sagenitic chrysocolla.
If you look closely you can see the sagentic crystal growths throughout the chrysocolla - especially the front. They remind me of long strands of seaweed. This particular chrysocolla has awesome blue and green colors. Predominantly opaque with a couple of small areas around edges with some quartz that are slightly translucent. This piece is considered "old stock" because it came from a 1998 find according to a collector familiar with this particular type of chrysocolla and knowledgeable about the discoveries of secondary minerals of the copper mine over the years.
