I believe this type of rounded sodalite stone is found only around the shore of lake superior, and in gravel areas nearby. I've used a 365nm uv light for photos, color will vary depending on light used. I've also included pictures under natural lighting. A blacklight style 395nm lamp is not recommended for best color. This stone was dry in all photos, wet or polished stones appear brighter and more gemmy.
A ruler and quarter were used to help indicate the size of this awesome "lite". Please check out the other yooperlites in my shop if you're looking for more sizes or patterns.
